DAY 00 — MUMBAI

Assemble at the Domestic Airport
Complete Your Check in Formalities & proceed for the Departure Gate

 

 

DAY 01 — MUMBAI – BHUBANESWAR – PURI

Arrive at Bhubaneswar Domestic Airport & Proceed to Exit Gate where you will meet your Vehicle Driver with Pla Card “Mr. ¬¬¬¬________” who will guide you to the Hotel.
In Bhubaneswar there are many temples which include: -

Lingaraj Temple: - It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Harihara, a form of Shiva and is one of the oldest temples of Bhubaneswar. The temple represents the quintessence of the Kalinga Architecture and culminating the medieval stages of the architectural tradition at Bhubaneswar.

Mukteswar Temple: An important landmark to the architectural development in Odisha (Orissa), the Mukteswar Temple is often described as one of jewels of Odisha (Orissa) for its exquisite sculptures and elegant looks.

Rajarani Temple: The Rajarani temple, dating back to the eleventh century, is set in open paddy fields, and the entire structure exudes grace and elegance.

Parsurameswar Temple: The temple is dedicated to Shiva and is one of the oldest temples in Orissa. Built during 650 AD in Nagara style, the Parsurameswar temple has all the main features of the pre-10th century Orissan style of architecture.

Enroute visit the Dhauli (Rock Edict’s of Ashok), Pipli (Applique village)
Arrive at Puri & Check in “Hotel”
Evening time is free for Leisure.

DAY 02 — PURI

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later Proceed to visit the most famous Temple in Puri.

Jagannath Temple: The Jagannath Temple in Puri is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Jagannath and located in the coastal town of Puri. The name Jagannath (Lord of the Universe) is a combination of the Sanskrit words Jagat (Universe) and Nath (Lord of).
Then visit the local sightseeing & proceed to visit
Konark Sun Temple: - Built in the thirteenth century, it was conceived as a gigantic solar chariot with twelve pairs of exquisitely-ornamented wheels dragged by seven rearing horses. The temple comprised a sanctum with a lofty (presumably over 68 m. high)
Back to Puri.

DAY 03 — PURI – BHUBANESWAR – KOLKATA

After Breakfast check out from Hotel.
You will be transferred to Bhubaneswar Airport.
Board your flight for Kolkata.
Arrive at Kolkata Airport & Proceed to Exit Gate where you will meet your Vehicle Driver with Pla Card “Mr. Nilesh Parekh & Friends” who will guide you to the Hotel.
Check in “Hotel”
Day free. Evening proceed to visit New Market and Kalighat Temple: Kalighat Kali Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Kalighat was a Ghat sacred to Kali on the old course of the Hooghly river in the city of Calcutta.

Overnight at Kolkata.

 

 

DAY 04 — KOLKATA

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later Proceed to visit the full day sightseeing tour of Kolkata – which includes:-

Victoria Memorial: The monument which draws the largest crowds to Kolkata is Victoria Memorial, a fine specimen of Indo-Sarsenic architecture and Kolkata’s most recognisable landmark. It houses an excellent collection of Raj memorabilia including paintings and manuscripts.

Birla Planetarium: Kolkata is a single-storeyed circular structure designed in the typical Indian style, whose architecture is loosely styled on the Buddhist stupa at Sanchi. It is the largest planetarium in Asia and the second largest planetarium in the world.

Indian Museum: One of the most visited museums in India,Indian Museum is the second largest museum in the country. Known locally as JaduGhar, this eclectic museum is a treasure-trove of artefacts belonging to the different periods of Indian history. Exhibits of the museum include the dinosaur skeleton, replica of the 2nd-century BC Barhut Stupa. Birla Mandir: A more recent addition to the city’s pilgrimage points, this temple in south Kolkata attracts all kinds of people, not just pilgrims, through its architectural splendor. Built of marble, this Lord Vishnu temple looks spectacular at night.

Belur Math: Situated on the banks of the river Hooghly, this serene temple’s architecture is an interesting and very unusual mix of a church and a mosque. The headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission founded by Swami Vivekananda, Belur Math is thronged by devotees throughout the year.

Dakshineswar Temple: A true devotee of the Goddess Kali, the Hindu goddess of ‘shakti’, Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa had made this his home. Considered to be among the holiest of Hindu temples, the Dakshineswar Temple is visited by thousands of pilgrims from all strata, particularly on the 1st of January every year during the Kalpataru Utsav.

DAY 05 — KOLKATA

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later you can take excursion tour to Gangasagar: (Vehicle will drop till Hardwood point)
Gangasagar is a charming tourist destination, which attracts both pilgrims and adventure lovers. Located on an island in the Sunderbans, Gangasagar offers the charms of an un-spoilt beach on the estuary of the river Ganges. Gangasagar offers acres of silver sand and clear blue sky, and the calm sea for visitors who would like to spend their weekend in tranquillity.
Evening back to hotel.

Overnight at Kolkata.
Note: We will provide Ac vehicle for Kolkata to Ferry Ghat i.e. Lot No. 8 / Harwood Point (90 Km.) & back to Kolkata. After reaching Lot No. 8 guest have to take the ferry to cross the Muriganga River for Kachuberia. And take private car for Sagar Island from Kachuberia. Ferry cost & local vehicle cost from Kachuberia to Sagar Island & back on your own.

 

 

DAY 06 — KOLKATA – BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – GANGTOK

Breakfast at Hotel.
Check out from hotel & you will be transferred to Kolkata Airport.
Board your flight for Bagdogra.
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport. You will be meet local representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs).
Check in “Hotel”
Evening time is free for leisure.

Overnight at Gangtok.

 

 

DAY 07 — GANGTOK

Breakfast at Hotel.
Today in the Morning proceed to cover excursion to Tshangu Lake with Nathula Pass & Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (35 Km from Tshangu Lake):-
This situated at the height of 3780m it takes 03 hrs one way.After reaching that place you will see a large lake in adjacent to which there is wide range of hill covered with snow. In the winter season the lake sometimes get freezed. Even some people walk through the frozen lake at that time.
(NOTE: If visit not permitted will provide alternate sightseeing)

Overnight in Gangtok.
(In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing). NOTE: To visit Nathula Pass you have to take a permit from a local supplier 02 days prior. For that you have to carry Passport copy + 02 Photographs. (To visit the Nathula pass you have to take a local vehicle which cost you Approx. Rs. 5500/- Per Vehicle).

 

 

DAY 08 — GANGTOK

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later proceed to cover the sightseeing of Gangtok where you visit:

Jhakri waterfall : The falls is set amidst dense greenery and the theme park itself is littered with ethnic sculptures and figurines of the Jhakri culture. Droul Chorthen: It is a very important stupa in Sikkim. This holy stupa was built under the direction of Late Truslshi Rimpoche in 1945. It is part of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism.

Rumtek Monastery: Rumtek is a famous monastery, all over the world, especially among the Tibetan Buddhists. Originally called the Dharma Chakra Centre, it includes a beautiful shrine temple and a monastery for the monks.

Research Institute of Tibetology: The Namgyal Institute of Tibetology has sponsored and promoted research on the religion, history, language, art and culture of the people of the Tibetan cultural area. The NIT library holds one of the largest collections of Tibetan works in the world outside Tibet and a museum of Tibetan iconography and religious art.
You can also visit Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday close), & Flower Show.

DAY 09 — GANGTOK – PELLING (Approx – 135 Kms 5 hrs)

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later Check out from Hotel & You will be transfer to the Pelling…
On arrival at Pelling Check in “Hotel”
Today evening explore city by yourself & free time for Leisure.

DAY 10 — PELLING

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later drive to beautiful Yuksom valley (Approx 35 km/2 hrs), on the way visit Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfall & Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake, & Kanchanjunga Waterfall.
After Lunch continue sightseeing tour covering - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Helipad Ground.Overnight in Pelling.

 

 

DAY 11 — PELLING – DARJEELING

Breakfast at Hotel.
Afternoon you will be transferred to Darjeeling. (Approx 116 km/5 hrs).
(Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas.)
Arrive & Check in at Hotel.

Overnight in Darjeeling.

 

 

DAY 12 — DARJEELING

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later you will be transfer to the Mirik (5800 Ft / 1768 Mts / 50 Kms / 02 Hrs one way).
Full day excursion of Pashupati Nagar (Indo-Nepal border) for shopping & Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boat is available around the lake on direct payment basis).
Evening you can visit the Tibetan Market where you can enjoy the local shopping in Darjeeling.

Overnight in Darjeeling.

 

 

DAY 13 — DARJEELING

Today early Morning tour to Tiger Hill around 4 AM to view sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (It will take Approx. 45 Mins to reach): It is the third highest mountain in the world (after Mount Everest and K2), with an elevation of 8,586 metres (28,169 ft). Kangchenjunga translated means "The Five Treasures of Snows".

Reroute visit Ghoom Monastery: Yiga Choeling Monastery of Ghoom is one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling area built in the year 1850. This is the original or the old Ghoom Monastery. Batasia Loop: It is memorial for the Gorkha soldiers who sacrificed their lives during India's independence. It gives you a panoramic view of the town of Darjeeling. On return journey you can experience the famous Toy Train Joy Ride (subject to availability) on your own, payable directly. This unique Mountain Railway project was first started in 1878 by the initiative of Sir. Ashley Eden and is now a World Heritage. (It will take 1 ½ hrs).

Return back to hotel then later in the afternoon you can proceed for half day sightseeing of Darjeeling which includes:-
Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center: Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre in Darjeeling, India is a rehabilitation Centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region. It was established in 1 October 1959, after they followed Dalai Lama and escaped from Tibet.
Tea Garden & Jorpokhari situated 19 kms from town: Jorpokhri a tiny place in Darjeeling District has A Twin Lake, surrounded by forest & offering magnificent view of Kanchenjunga.

Evening is free for leisure & to explore the city by your own.

DAY 14 — DARJEELING – BAGDOGRA – MUMBAI.

Breakfast at Hotel.
Later check out from hotel & you will be transferred to the Bagdogra Airport.
Board your flight for Mumbai via Kolkata or Delhi.

Arrive at Mumbai Domestic Airport.
