DAY 02 — MUNICH

After Breakfast we proceed for Full day tour of Neuschwanstein Castle. Wander through the scenic German countryside on your way to the legendary extravagance of the German castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Known for their elaborate construction and world-famous architecture, these two extraordinary structures were dreamed up by Germany's own Ludwig II, also known as the Swan King.

You'll soon find out why many believe Neuschwanstein inspired Disney's storybook castles--get ready to feel like you're living a real-life fairy tale. Hidden in the seclusion of the mountains, German King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Both testify to the vision of Bavaria's fairytale King.

Departing from Munich, you'll first visit Linderhof Castle, a French rococo-style castle inspired by Versailles itself and surrounded by immaculately manicured gardens. A quick shopping and photo stop in the charming village Oberammergau will recharge your batteries for the second half of your day. You'll arrive at idyllic Neuschwanstein Castle around 1:00 p.m, where you're free to enjoy approximately 4 hours to explore the castle.

 

 

DAY 03 — MUNICH ZELL AM SEE

After Breakfast we proceed for Zell Am See We Drive for Zell Am See (Munich – Zell Am See : Approx 2hrs) Check In Hotel

With an alpine valley, magnificent mountains and a gleaming lake for a backdrop, you could be forgiven for thinking you’re in a postcard when spending coach holidays in Zell am See. The resort has been a health spa since 1961 and the beautiful Lake Zell provides the town with the purest drinking water – so if you’re feeling the need for rejuvenation then hop on coach breaks to this cheerful resort. Today We have Option to Enjoy the The First alpine rollercoaster in Salzburg province: Alpine coaster Maisiflitzer.

“Everyone buckle up!” – the last words you hear before the traffic light turns green. Running on tracks, these two-seaters race towards the valley below at speeds as high as 40 km/h. For added excitement the track features built-in waves, jumps and five loops. At its highest point, the track even takes you 11 meters above the ground. If that first adrenaline rush wasn’t enough for you, simply remain seated in the sled and you’ll be towed right back to the top of the course again.

The start and finish of the coaster are located right next to the Schaufelberg car park.

 

 

DAY 04 — ZELL AM SEE

15:00 Approx Time back to Zell Am See Optional excursion with a ride on the Pinzgau train from Zell-am-See to the town of Mittersill then continue by coach to the walled town of Kitzbühel where you will have free time to explore.

Today Option to Enjoy Paragliding, Rafting & Canyoning Close by are the rivers Salzach and Saalach which are great for rafting depending on how much you want to get shaken up. If you want to experience rivers and canyons as close as possible we suggest you book a canyoning trip! You shouldn't be afraid of water though.

 

 

DAY 05 — ZELL AM SEE

09:30 Approx Time Toay we have Option to Enjoy... The Famous Salt Mine of Salzburg Sparkling atmospherically and impressively adventurously, the Salt Mine presents itself in a new light. It is a world of the local miners, who have been working in the active part of the mine day-in, day-out, for centuries and whisk the visitors away into their aforementioned world.

Highlights, such as the slide or the journey on the Mirror Lake melt with gripping information over the indispensible vital element of salt. An adventure with many unforgettable impressions, which you not only experience during the course of the SalzZeitReise, but will also experience with all of your senses!

Prior to entering, each visitor to the Salt Mine Berchtesgaden receives functional overalls. Please note that the temperature below ground is at a constant +12°C throughout the year. The tour underground takes approx. 1 hour. Please allow 1.5 to 2 hours, including ticket purchase, changing, receipt and return of the miner clothing.

The old city centre of Ljubljana, remarkable for its unique architecture, owes its appearance to Baroque and Art Nouveau masters and, most of all, the architect Jože Plečnik. Its most prominent landmark is Ljubljana Castle, which has undergone numerous changes over its rich and dynamic history.

Apart from creations by Jože Plečnik, it is Baroque masterpieces that decisively contribute to the architectural appearance of Ljubljana. Numerous old city centre buildings are adorned with Baroque façades, staircases and inner courtyards. Also the majority of Ljubljana's famous churches were built or, after the earthquake of 1511, rebuilt in Baroque style.

A jewel in the crown of Baroque Ljubljana are the masterpieces by the Venetian-born sculptor Francesco Robba, whose works include the famous Fountain of Three Carniolan Rivers (Vodnjak treh kranjskih rek), one of Ljubljana's most typical Baroque monuments, situated in front of the Town Hall (Mestna hiša).

 

 

DAY 07 — LJUBLJANA

09:00 Approx Time today we proceed by small cave train and walking, you will be able to explore some of the most beautiful parts of the Postojna Cave, which is also famous for a unique animal species, the olm (Proteus anguinus), known as the world's only vertebrate living in underground caves.

Predjama Castle is partially built into a cave located in the middle of a 123-metre high vertical cliff face. The original Predjama Castle was well known as the home of the legendary rebellious knight Erasmus. Today's castle, which assumed its present appearance in the 16th century, houses a museum.

Options... Slovenian seaside and Škocjan caves: Visit Škocjan caves , the most natural caves in Slovenia under Unesco heritage. Then you visit Piran, the cutest town in Slovenia. Also, Socerb castle and Soline salt fieldsand Hrastovlje with the oldest frescoes in Slovenia. if time permits you can enjoy Boat Ride on Ljubljanica river for one hr.

Apart from objects related to the history of the city, the Zagreb museums and art collections possess exhibits from the whole world round of very considerable historical and artistic value. Things of particular rarity are the Zagreb Mummy with the world's longest text in Etruscan, and the remains of Neanderthal prehistoric man (homo Krapinensis).

The over a thousand year old history of Dubrovnik is visible in every part of this city. The city is a living museum and a live stage, and has an ideal connection between its historical past and the modern day. It is surrounded by medieval walls that are 1940 metres long and are preserved in their original form. They are open to visitors and are the city’s greatest attraction. Since 1979 the town has been under UNSECO protection.

Dubrovnik is mainly a cultural destination, which asides from monuments of interest, offers a series of cultural events and festivals. Dubrovnik is a destination where you can enjoy a rest, and has extremely good air connections with all the larger European centres. Dubrovnik is a city that charms, a city that you fall in love with and always return to like new, to discover more unique experiences.

The Dominican Monastery houses inspiring works by the members of the Dubrovnik 15th and 16t century school of painting and a canvas by the great Titian. The Cathedral treasury comprises silver and gold relics made by Dubrovnik goldsmiths from the 11th to 19th century. At the Rectors Palace try to conjure up the way the city was governed in the course of centuries and how freedom was guarded as the greatest treasure of the Dubrovnik Republic. Visit the Rupe Ethnographic Museum and learn more about the granary and storage of the state grain and wheat reserves in deep pits cut into the rock. Acquaint yourselves with the customs and folk costume of the Dubrovnik region. Walk the city walls, and make sure to visit the Maritime Museum in order to learn about the centuries-long seafaring tradition of the Dubrovnik Republic. Discover more about the famed seamen, and the mathematician Getaldić and the physicist Ruđer Bošković who calculated the loading capacity of the merchant ships karaka, galijun and nava.

Climb Fort Lovrjenac, the Dubrovnik Gibraltar, and conjure up scenes from Shakespeares Hamlet, Macbeth and Julius Caesar. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the small museum of the Dubrovnik Synagogue with numerous exhibits which testify to the life of the Jews in Dubrovnik.

At the Dubrovnik Defenders Museum at Fort Imperial on Mount Srđ, reminisce about the recent past and suffering of Dubrovnik. In addition to doing the city walls tour, climbing the Dubrovnik steps, walking the narrow streets with clothes drying in the breeze, charming restaurants and shops, a cocktail sipped by the walls, the murmur of the sea at Buža, and a concert or play at some of the Dubrovnik festivals, make sure to save some time for visiting the places in the Dubrovnik surroundings.

DAY 09 — DUBROVNIK

The Island of Lokrum, also called the Island of Love, is in close vicinity to the Old City. Centuries of rich history, legends, tales and the magic of the sea and nature will revive old loves, or inspire new ones. The Arcadian idyll of the Trsteno Arboretum - where one of the most beautiful women of the European Renaissance, the red-haired Dubrovnik poetess Cvijeta Zuzorić wrote her verses and loved - invites you to take a walk in the shade of ancient trees and see your reflection in the Neptune and Nymphs Fountain.

Allow yourselves to enjoy swimming in the miraculously clean Adriatic, and take along a pebble from one of the white Dubrovnik beaches…

 

 

DAY 10 — DUBROVNIK

DAY 12 — BUDAPEST

09:00 Approx Time We start the tour from the Chain Bridge. First, we take the Margaret Bridge and drive over to Buda. We stop in the Castle District and during a short walk we show you the main attractions of the area. We walk to Matthias Church and to the Fishermen’s Bastion (from where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama).Next, we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and show you the most spectacular view of Budapest. We then take you across the Elisabeth Bridge to Pest and show you the famous Central Market Hall, followed by the largest Synagogue of Europe and the City Park. We pass by Europe’s largest thermal spa, the Budapest Zoo and the Amusement Park, after which stop at the Heroes’ Square (with statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and dukes). We then take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, pass by the Opera House and the St Stephen’s Basilica. During the tour we offer a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history. Tour Herend Porcelain Factory Afternoon we proceed to Enjoy Tour to the handcraft village Szentendre and Royal Castle Visegrad

DAY 13 — BUDAPEST – BRATISLAVA – VIENNA (Approx 2½ hrs + Tour)

Bratislava is neatly divided by the Danube River. On the north bank are the less attractive high-rise blocks erected under Communist occupation (1968-89). On the north bank is the comparatively tiny but beautifully restored historic quarter of the Old Town (Stare Mesto), now devoted almost entirely to tourism.

Bratislava Old Town, much of which is pedestrianised, is characterized by its charming Hapsburg baroque architecture, including many former palaces. Hlavne Square sits at its heart, containing the Old City Hall, and parallel, running north to south, the old Michalska and Venturska streets lead past a number of historical sites.

The town has a rich musical pedigree and includes the childhood performance venues of Mozart and Franz Liszt. ZelenáUlica runs off Michalska and is one of the narrowest streets in the city, home to Academia Istropolitana, the first university in the Hungarian Kingdom. Don't miss a stroll along the charming pedestrian promenade which begins at the National Theatre (and MacDonalds!), with its statuary, fountains and many cafés.

At the other end of the Old Town is St Martin's Cathedral, which hosted the coronation of exiled Hungarian kings during the period when most of Hungary was under Ottoman rule. The city also boasts a number of copper-domed churches, palaces, and, just outside the walls, the dominant landmark of Bratislava Castle.

DAY 14 — VIENNA

This tour gives an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse guide shows numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quarter, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of this tour of showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace.

The performances of the famous snowy white Lipizzaner stallions and their riders in the baroque Winter Riding School built by Josef Emanuel Fischer von Erlach in the years 1729 to 1735 are some of the most moving and beautiful impressions for horse lovers and bear living testimony to European culture.

During these performances the visitor witnesses the spectacular perfection of the “High School of Classical Horsemanship” with the Pas de Deux, Work in Hand and on the Long Rein and the School Quadrille which is shown with eight stallions. The Levade, Courbette and Capriole are the highlights of the “Schools above the Ground”.

13:30 Approx time we proceed for Tour of Vienna Woods, including boat ride at the biggest underground lake in Europe Seegrotte

It’s a half-day excursion, which demonstrates the most beautiful sights of the southern part of Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, the bus drives through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, (visit of memoral chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with BaronesseVetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) travelers visit the Medieval cloister, which houses the remains of last the Babenberger. Then the tour proceeds via the Höldrichsmühle and arrives at the Seegrotte. After a boatride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe tourists leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna.

DAY 16 — PRAGUE

10:00 Approx time Today we visit Prague Castle. Tourists will see the Prague castle – residence of Czech kings; St. Vitus cathedral – one of the biggest and the most beautiful in the world; Golden Lane – small ancient street with fairy small houses and Franz Kafka’ house

The tour includes the visit of the Royal Palace, famous with its huge Wladislav Hall.

After the Prague castle tour proceeds along the Kings’ road to the Lesser town area. In this area everybody will admire the St. Nikolas church - the best sample of Baroque in Prague.

Then tour proceeds to the world famous Charles Bridge. During the tour of the bridge travelers will hear lot of mystic, fantastic, but real stories that came from the depth of the centuries.

Continue of the tour: Old town, Jewish quarter, Wenceslas square. The Old town square with famous Astronomical clocks is the historical center of the city and site of many significant events; there is a monument to the reformer Jan Hus by LadislavSaloun. Old Town square is unique complex of architectural and historic monuments. Jewish quarter is remarkable withseven synagogues remain from this old settlement which includes the Jewish Town Hall and the Old Jewish Cemetery - the oldest in Europe. Wenceslas square is the shopping center of Prague. In the upper part of the square is the statue of St. Wenceslas with four patron saints of Bohemia. A neo-Renaissance building of the National Museum is the main landmark of the square.

DAY 17 — PRAGUE

09:30 Approx Time Full day tour to Karlovy Vary (120 km, 1,5hrs)

A full day sightseeing tour to the most famous spa town in the Czech Republic, Karlovy Vary, located to the west of Prague, near the German border.

The way to Karlovy Vary from Prague takes 2 hours.

The spa town was built during the middle Ages after the discovery of hot mineral springs. It is a clean, elegant town with gracious colonnades and picturesque boulevards, surrounded by forest.

The invigorating waters are used to treat all kinds of disorders and for general well-being. Among famous past visitors are Russian tsar Peter the Great and poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who both praised the healing effects of the mineral springs.

12 hot springs are in use. The best-known spring is Vridlo, which belches its curative water to a height of 17m. Morning walking tour of Karlovy Vary includes a taste of the waters. Those that wish can take a swim in the thermal swimming pool - bring your swimming costume and a towel.
