An ample amount of time will be spent at the falls to give you every opportunity to take pictures and admire the thundering waters. Included is a thrilling boat ride on the Maid of the Mist for an unique view of the spectacular Horseshoe Falls.

Other highlights include a meal and a trip along the beautiful Niagara Parkway which winds its way along the Niagara Gorge passing through the historic community of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Arriving at the falls, you embark on a thrilling boat ride on the Maid of the Mist for an unique view of the spectacular Horseshoe Falls. After a buffet dinner overlooking the falls, you walk to the Illumination Tower and using a specially designed control board, you control the colours and patterns projected on to the rushing waters as they cascade over the precipice into the pools below. Late evening return back to Toronto.

 

 

DAY 03 — Toronto / Ottawa

After breakfast, checkout of hotel and proceed to Toronto Union Station to board Via Rail to Ottawa.

DAY 04 — Ottawa

After breakfast proceed on a sightseeing tour of Ottawa - Canada’s national capital.

You will explore the Parliament Buildings, embassies, universities and museums. You will see the Canadian Mint, the National Gallery of Canada, the Museum of Civilization, the residence of the Prime Minister and the National Arts Centre. You will drive through scenic gardens and parklands and along the Rideau Canal, one of Ottawa's picturesque waterways.

DAY 04 — Toronto/Ottawa – 450 KM

After breakfast checkout and drive east following the shoreline of Lake Ontario and pass through the small communities and villages that dot the landscape.

The city of Kingston is home to the prestigious Queen’s University and is the gateway to the port lands of the beautiful 1000 Islands.
Enjoy a cruise of the beautiful islands – an unforgettable trip through the near countless small inlets that are home to a wide variety of marine mammals and waterfowl. Later continue your journey as the road turns north along the Rideau Heritage Route and intermittently follows the Rideau River.

The route takes you through riverside towns such as Smiths Falls and Edmond’s Lock, many of them with working marine locks allowing boats to traverse from higher to lower river elevations. Arrive afternoon in Canada’s national capital. Overnight in Ottawa.

 

 

DAY 05 — Ottawa/Quebec City – 460 KM

Crossing the border into the province of Quebec, taking the north shore of the St Lawrence will bring you through the town of Trois Rivières.
